Here at A Stone's Throw we care about you, our customers.  We will do our utmost to ensure your satisfaction.

We offer a free 'Brown Paper Packages Tied Up With String' gift-wrapping service.  Please state at check-out if you would like any of your items gift wrapping.

We will try to avoid any disappointment on out of stock items, but on occasions where listed goods are out of stock, we may offer items of similar value or better specification and value to your original choice.  If you want the item of choice that is out of stock we will back order this for you, unless advised otherwise. As soon as the purchase is in stock we will contact you.

If you cannot find what you are looking for, please do contact us.  We work with a number of fantastic suppliers and may be able to source the item for you.  A deposit may be payable for this service; you will be advised if this is the case.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

If you object to any of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement, you should not use any of the products or services on the Web site and leave immediately.

You agree that you shall not use the Web site for illegal purposes, and will respect all applicable laws and regulations. 2 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

A Stone's Throw will under no circumstance be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages including any loss of business, revenue, profits, or data in relation to your use of the Web site. A Stone's Throw is fully insured which includes product liability and public liability.

5 OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

Here at A Stone's Throw our staff will try to avoid any disappointment on out of stock items, but on occasions where listed goods are out of stock, we may offer items of similar value or better specification and value to your original choice.  If you want the item of choice that is out of stock we will back order this for you, unless advised otherwise. As soon as the purchase is in stock we will contact you to advise delivery.

We endeavour to ensure product availability wherever possible, all products and services are subject to availability and maybe withdrawn at anytime without prior notice. 

A Stone's Throw are not responsible for compensating you for any unforeseeable losses you may suffer in relation to goods ordered and if goods are not supplied, deemed faulty, damaged in transit or delayed. 

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

6 FAULTY GOODS

Manufacturers Defect Found:
All products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for up to three months from the date of purchase unless stated otherwise, this does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or wear and tear.

If you think there is a fault with your purchase, please contact us so we can help you get the item back to us and look to sort any problems.

Any faulty goods must be returned to the shop with proof of purchase. Please note many items have to be returned back to their place of manufacture for inspection by their own department; we will organise this for you. 
If the the fault is declared a manufacture fault, the item will be replaced with the same or equal product.

·       The item(s) will be repaired, replaced or the value of returned item(s) may be refunded.

·       If the item(s) are discontinued we will offer a replacement of equal or better specification or may be refunded.

A product refund may only be issued within a suitable time scale of use / owning the item

A Stone's Throw reserves the right to have the goods inspected by a technician appointed by us prior to replacement or refund. A manufactures guarantee will not apply to any faults that are deemed to of been caused by accident, neglect, misuse or general wear and tear.

A Stone's Throw are not responsible for compensating you for any unforeseeable losses you may suffer in relation to faulty goods. 


7 UNSUITABLE GOODS

You have the right to return an item or cancel your order with us, in accordance with Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations.  The period in which you have to exercise that right, by law is 14 days from the date of receiving your goods.  The unused goods, as sold including any offer/free item(s) received in conjunction with the returned item(s) must be returned, at the customer’s expense, in the original packaging within 14 days of notice to cancel. We will refund you in full including the original postage.  A Stone's Throw reserves the right to have the goods inspected by a technician appointed by us prior to replacement or refund.

For hygiene reasons, perishable items (such as food), toiletries (such as soap), earrings and PPE (such as face masks) cannot be returned unless faulty.  Please be aware that these items will be returned to manufacturer to by checked and confirmed as faulty before a refund is issued. 8 Delivery Problems

Within the UK you can usually expect delivery of your order between 2 and 7 days from the day we receive your order. If you have not received your order after 7 days, please contact us. We will make enquiries to our carrier to confirm loss of the parcel and will send a duplicate parcel to you as soon as possible. Outside the UK, please contact us if you have not received your order after 2 weeks. In the unlikely event your order is damaged in transit, please contact us immediately. You must not sign for your parcel as received in good condition. Please retain the original package for returning your order.  We will arrange for the parcel to be collected and a prompt replacement or refund will be sorted out for you.

If you have arranged/left a note to leave your parcel where you have instructed, it is at your own risk if there is nobody to receive the delivery when it is attempted. Any theft, loss or damage to your goods or parcel resulting from this arrangement will not be replaced, refunded or credited.

9 PERISHABLE GOODS

Due to foods and toiletries being perishable goods, we can not accept these items for exchange or refund unless sent in error.

10 RETURNS POLICY

Please ensure that the items are in original or secure packaging, where necessary please state the fault and or why your are returning your items. Please enclose proof of purchase i.e. Invoice/Receipt along with your full personal details. 
Please obtain a certificate of posting from your post office or courier when you send any time back to us, regretfully we cannot be held responsible for goods whilst in transit.  We strongly suggest you use a signed-for/tracked delivery option.

As set out in the distance selling directive, the customer must pay for the return of goods and send them back to us with in 14 days as set out above.

If the goods are faulty we will either replace the goods and refund the cost of your postage back to us, or refund the goods and postage in full. You must provide a copy of the receipt for monies paid for postage.
If the goods are not wanted, you must return the goods as set out above within 14 days. We will issue a full refund for the item in question but not for the postage costs (including the postage back to us).

11 VOUCHERS

All vouchers have a minimum spend of £10 plus Postage & Packaging unless stated otherwise. Vouchers can not be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or like wise.

12 THIRD PARTIES

The Web site may contain hyperlinks to web sites operated by other parties. We do not control such web sites and we take no responsibility for, and will not incur any liability in respect of their content. Our inclusion of hyperlinks to such web sites does not imply any endorsement of views, statements or information contained in such web sites.

13 SEVERANCE

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck out and the remaining provisions shall remain in force.

14 GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of England and any user of the Web site hereby agrees to be bound exclusively by the jurisdiction of English courts without reference to rules governing choice of laws.

A Stone's Throw Limited agrees to supply and you agree to purchase goods subject to these terms and conditions, which shall supersede any terms and conditions on any purchase order or document that you submit to A Stone's Throw Limited.

These terms and conditions apply and take precedence over all others.  All goods remain property of A Stone's Throw Limited until full payment has been received.  These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and each party agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Please note that we practice a policy of continual review and reserve the right to change the above terms and conditions at any time without notice.
